This position is located at the New Mexico VA Health Care System, Environmental Management Service (EMS), Textile Care Processing Facility (TCPF), in Albuquerque, NM. The incumbent serves as the Program Support Assistant to the Supervisory Laundry Operations Specialist (Textile Care Manager) of the TCPF serving the New Mexico VA Health Care System, Albuquerque, NM, and West Texas Health Care System, Amarillo, TX, as well as VA Outpatient Clinics in Gallup, NM, Clovis, NM, and Lubbock, TX. Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 Physical Requirements: The work requires the ability to move around the office and carry light items such as office files, books, or patient belongings. May involve a limited amount of stooping and bending to place or retrieve information from a file drawer. Majority of time is spent in an office type chair at a desk.
