What You'll Do
- Assemble mechanical systems, components, and subassemblies
- Read and work from drawings, work instructions, and process documentation
- Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, drills, saws, and other manufacturing equipment
- Install and align piping, brackets, assemblies, and components
- Perform brazing, soldering, polishing, painting, and other fabrication tasks
- Ensure products meet quality and performance standards
- Operate material handling equipment such as carts, forklifts, and cranes
- Complete production documentation accurately and on time
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical School graduates encouraged to apply
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Basic manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions
- Welding, brazing, soldering, HVAC, automotive, refrigeration, maintenance, or manufacturing experience is a plus
- Forklift certification is a plus, but not required

- Work in compliance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures
- Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods
- Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts
- Report defect in any equipment or protective device
- Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks
- Attend all required health, safety and environmental training
- Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor
- Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
- Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct
