Technical Consulting Engineer - Web applications (Japanese Speaker)
What You’ll Do
- Drive technology design, optimisation, implementation and delivery for customer projects.
- Develop and deploy software, automation and integration solutions using
Python and the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular and Node.js)
.
- Translate customer business and technical requirements into scalable software and solution designs.
- Develop
RESTful APIs and web services
using Python, Node.js, Express.js, JSON and XML.
- Build web applications using
Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS
.
- Work with
MongoDB and relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL
.
- Assist customers with integration, implementation, troubleshooting and optimisation of Cisco technologies and software solutions.
- Support presales activities, solution design, demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
- Build test environments to validate solutions and resolve complex technical issues.
- Create technical documentation, customer collateral and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Contribute to automation, reusable scripts, digital solutions and intellectual capital.
- Work collaboratively with customers and cross-functional teams as an individual contributor.
Who You Are
- Japanese Speaker - Proficiancy
- BE/B.Tech/BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent, with
6+ years of relevant experience
.
- Strong experience in
Python development, automation and scripting
MEAN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, Angular and Node.js
.
- Experience developing
full-stack web applications and RESTful APIs
.
- Good understanding of
PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL databases
.
- Strong knowledge of
JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS
.
- Experience with
Agile, DevOps and SDLC
.
- Strong software design, Object-Oriented Programming and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with
Git, Linux/Unix and unit testing
.
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, JSON/XML and REGEX.
- Exposure to
network automation, NETCONF, RESTCONF, YANG and networking concepts
is desirable.
- Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
