In 2015, we pioneered a "moneyball for biotech" approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.

Together we define white space, push boundaries, and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma. At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation - including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work.

What You'll Do

You will report to VP & GM EU Center, and work closely with our Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), Medical Affairs, Marketing and Patient Advocacy to drive strategic initiatives that support BridgeBio's mission of delivering transformative medicines to patients with genetic diseases and genetically driven cancers. During 2027 the reporting line will move to the Senior Director, Commercial, EU Center once that role is in place. Your primary purpose will be to improve the diagnosis rates of autosomal dominant hypocalcemia type 1 (ADH1), a rare genetic cause of hypoparathyroidism, by building disease awareness and supporting diagnostic pathways across a broad network of endocrinology centers and practices, with a focus on disease education in the 2027 pre-launch phase. After launch, the role is planned to evolve into a Key Account Manager role. You complement our MSLs: they lead deep scientific exchange with expert centers, you bring breadth across hospital endocrinology departments, medical care centers (MVZ) and office-based endocrinologists. This role requires effective collaboration with cross-functional colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution and impact. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in rare disease field engagement in endocrinology with strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

  • Network coverage: Build and maintain a broad network across hospital endocrinology departments, MVZ and selected office-based endocrinologists in your territory
  • Disease awareness: Raise awareness of ADH1 among physicians managing hypoparathyroidism, helping them recognize when a genetic cause should be suspected
  • Diagnostic pathways: Share guideline-aligned diagnostic algorithms and approved disease education materials, and help centers embed them in routine care
  • Testing support: Support HCPs with the logistics of genetic testing, including family testing initiated by the treating physician
  • MSL partnership: Work hand in hand with MSLs on joint account plans, refer scientific questions to them, and provide operational support at centers of excellence
  • Insights and planning: Capture field insights on diagnostic gaps and referral patterns in CRM, and use them for territory planning and regular business reviews
  • Compliance: Operate fully within HWG, the industry codes and company policy, with a disease-focused, non-promotional remit before approval, and prepare the transition to a Key Account Manager role after launch

Where You'll Work

This is a field-based position in Germany, covering either the North or the South territory, with approximately 60-70% travel anticipated for customer visits, regional meetings and congresses. Candidates should live within their territory, ideally close to a major transport hub.

Who You Are

  • Qualification as Pharmaberater according to § 75 AMG, e.g. a degree in life sciences, pharmacy or medicine, or certified Pharmareferent/in
  • At least 5 years of field experience in pharma or biotech, ideally in rare diseases, endocrinology or nephrology, and in a key account management or disease awareness role
  • Established network among hospital and office-based endocrinologists in Germany
  • Experience with genetic testing, diagnostic pathways or rare disease diagnostic support programs is a strong plus
  • Sound knowledge of HWG and industry codes, with a proven ability to work compliantly in a pre-launch environment
  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven and collaborative, comfortable building a new affiliate and working closely with MSLs and cross-functional teams
  • Fluent German and good English, valid driving license, and willingness to travel 60-70% of the time
