Job Summary

  • 6+ years’ experience in BMC Discovery/ADDm Administration, Operations and Enhancements.
  • BMC Discovery Alert monitoring and remediations
  • Troubleshooting failed daily discovery scans and handle them on Ad-hoc basis.
  • Work with responsible teams to rectify issues related to Discovery scanning failures.
  • Disk Management on partioning and performing swap as per suggestion under disk management
  • Monthly Update of TKU and EDP to get TPLs updated.
  • Discovery appliance OS Upgrade on monthly basis.

• Database Compaction for defragment the data in appliance storage.

  • User Queries creation as per the user requirement.
  • Compressing alerts on baseline and updates
  • Health Check Discovery Application and Servers for any potential issues.
  • Troubleshooting integration related scan issues (Like integrated with Orchestration Tools etc.)
  • Troubleshooting CMDB sync issues
  • Extensive experience in Dashboard and Reporting.
  • Experience in upgrade on Discovery components.
  • Moderate experience in TPL (language)
  • Ready to work in Singapore Shift and On-Call out of business hours.
  • Some experience on other tools administration like BMC Remedy ITSM

Key Responsibilities

  1. To ensure on-time resolution & quality compliance of escalated tickets/incident as per the agreed SLA.
  1. To perform value addition activities (such as mentoring administrators/team members, preparing SOPs, maintaining effective documentation simultaneously and Knowledge sharing.) In addition act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders as & when required.
  1. To validate Change Order Implementation Plan & Human Error Compliance and participate in Capacity planning.
  1. To ensure positive customer feedback & satisfaction through active participation in customer meetings to understand any issues faced.
  1. To validate analyses (eg. Root Cause Analysis ,Trend Analysis) and reports to facilitate performance in tasks to be presented to key business stakeholders
