We are looking for people who have
- 1-3 years of relevant software development experience.
- Familiarity with building scalable web applications.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (ideally Scala and/or Java)
- Exposure to Elasticsearch and/or other relevant technologies like Postgres.
- Desire to work in a highly remote/distributed but collaborative environment. (Iterable has offices in San Francisco, Denver, New York and Lisbon but the vast majority of Engineering has chosen to work remotely)
- Willingness to take on-call responsibilities.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).
- Legally authorized to work in the EU.

The base salary range for this position in Lisbon, Portugal, is €43,000 – €54,000 per year (gross). This range is provided in anticipation of the requirements of the EU Pay Transparency Directive (2023/970), which EU member states are implementing into national law, and reflects the expected compensation at the start of employment for this role.The final offer will be determined by your experience, qualifications, and performance throughout the selection process, while ensuring alignment with our internal equity principles.
