Project Manager - Scrum Master
Job Summary
Experienced Scrum Master with strong Banking and Financial Services domain expertise to facilitate Agile delivery across geographically distributed teams. The ideal candidate will drive Agile best practices, remove impediments, coordinate across onsite, nearshore, and offshore teams, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality banking applications while maintaining compliance with regulatory and security requirements.
- Managed 2–5 Agile squads comprising 20–50 team members.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
- Strong understanding of banking business processes and regulatory environments.
- Experience delivering applications for retail, commercial, or investment banking.
- Knowledge of risk, compliance, audit, and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project teams in the successful execution of projects using agile methodologies.
- Act as a scrum master, facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Implement change management processes to address any scope changes or project deviations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile best practices within the project team.
- Report project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
Skill Requirements
- Proficient in agile methodologies and experienced in acting as a scrum master.
- Solid understanding of project management and change management principles.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide project teams towards successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills to address project challenges and ensure project objectives are met.
