Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Boston, Massachusetts and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues utilizing Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow (SNOW);
Converting legacy data according to current system's data structure using data warehouse concepts, including Visualization, Reporting, and Dashboard within Salesforce;
Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Visio and MS Project;
Recommending, designing, and implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Managed Cloud, Server Virtualization, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solutions;
Performing root cause analysis and documenting results using Apex Developer Console, Salesforce Command Line Interface (CLI) and Salesforce Developer Experience (SFDX) plug-ins;
Performing application and data migration by architecting frameworks for standardization and automation using Salesforce Sandbox Refresh templates, Data Loader, Workbench, and Data Import Wizard;
Tracking application defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Jira; and
Developing detailed implementation plans for deploying Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud functionalities and integrations, establishing key project milestones, and developing high-level architecture.

Other
