Computational Biologist (at the rank of Senior Technical Officer) in Bioinformatics Core

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline with at least 6 years of relevant work experience

• Strong hands-on experience in bioinformatics, including the analysis of short- and long-read sequencing data or multi-omics datasets

• Proficiency in R, Python or other relevant programming languages, with demonstrated experience in delivering technical training

• Knowledge of AI tools and hands-on experience in applying them to routine bioinformatics tasks

• Background or experience in a bioinformatics core facility is highly advantageous

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong team player

• Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges
