Nursing Assistant (3 West-Med/Surg Telemetry and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit)

The Greater Los Angeles VA Health Care System is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant (NA) for our Med/Surg Telemetry Unit. The NA provide basic to complex nursing care as a member of the nursing care team by assisting licensed nursing staff and other members of the care team; provide care under close supervision, while learning to perform complex nursing skills and will refer issues/questions to supervisors, licensed nursing staff or other health care professionals. You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this job. All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Applicants who refuse to be tested will be denied employment with VA. Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959. Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
