Supervisory Veterans Claims Examiner (Chief)

The Supervisory Veterans Claims Examiner supervises the Policy Implementation Staff, serves as primary advisor to the Assistant Director, Policy Staff, CS Deputy Executive Directors, CS Executive Director, & other delegated or appropriate senior leaders & conducts, manages, and oversees Governance Board meetings to discuss and decide substantive policy guidance proposals to CS Staffs, Office of Field Operations (OPO), Office of Regulatory Oversight and Management, & Pension & Fiduciary Service. As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
