Biomolecule Engineer Novel RNA Modalities VIE Contract

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

• Design and engineer novel RNA molecules (mRNA, saRNA, circRNA,siRNA, antisense oligonucleotides, aptamers).
• Optimize RNA sequences for stability, efficacy, and reduced immunogenicity.
• Develop structure-activity relationships for RNA therapeutic candidates.
• Execute RNA synthesis and purification protocols.
• Perform in vitro and cell-based assays to evaluate RNA functionality.
• Analyze experimental data using statistical and bioinformatics tools.
• Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and electronic records.
• Work closely with data science, RNA analytics, high throughput screening (HTS), formulation and immunology teams.

• 0-2 years of relevant experience in RNA research or biotechnology.
• Strong academic background in molecular biology and biochemistry.
• Experience with RNA design, synthesis, and characterization.
• Experience with statistical analysis software (R, Python, or similar).

• Knowledge of analytical methods (HPLC, mass spectrometry, gel electrophoresis).
• Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and sequence analysis software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.

• Master's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

• Fluent English (verbal and written).
