Do you have experience providing indirect tax advisory services and are looking for a new professional challenge? Join our Indirect Tax team and work on projects that extend beyond the borders of Slovakia.

Your key responsibilities
- Provide professional tax advisory services related to Slovak and cross-border VAT matters.
- Analyze and resolve complex indirect tax issues in collaboration with colleagues and deliver practical recommendations to clients, including tax risk management solutions.
- Work with multinational companies across dynamic industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, and Real Estate.
- Support the VAT structuring of client transactions, applying knowledge of Slovak and EU VAT legislation, including relevant case law.
- Actively participate in projects alongside Partners and Managers, from initial analysis and strategy discussions through to the preparation of technical tax opinions.
- Prepare and review VAT returns.
Skills and attributes for success
- University degree (Master’s level) in Economics, Law, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in tax advisory services with a focus on indirect taxes (VAT), ideally at least 3 years within a professional services or consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of Slovak and EU VAT legislation, with a genuine interest in further specializing in this area.
- Ability to independently manage technical assignments while working effectively as part of project teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical conclusions to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset, enthusiasm, and a client-centric approach.
- Fluent Slovak and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
