Data Mesh Architect - Technology Consulting

As a Data Mesh Architect, you will play a key role in shaping modern data ecosystems and helping organizations transform the way they manage, own, and consume data.

• Lead the design and development of data architecture frameworks based on Data Mesh principles.

• Drive decentralized data ownership and support domain-oriented data architectures.

• Define and implement scalable data platform strategies that improve accessibility and data product management.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, and technology leaders to align data strategy with business objectives.

• Establish and promote modern data governance practices, standards, and operating models.

• Analyze existing data architectures and provide strategic recommendations for transformation initiatives.

• Design and oversee data integration, interoperability, and data product ecosystems.

• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements and communicate architectural decisions.

• Guide clients through large-scale data transformation programmes and adoption of Data Mesh frameworks.

• Support business development, proposal preparation, and thought leadership activities within the data consulting practice.

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise data management.

• In-depth knowledge of Data Mesh principles and practical implementation approaches.

• Strong understanding of modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and data governance frameworks.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.

• Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms in cloud environments.

• Knowledge of data product management concepts and domain-driven design.

• Experience with data governance operating models and metadata management.

• Familiarity with modern analytics ecosystems and business intelligence platforms.

• Consulting experience and exposure to large-scale transformation programmes.

• Relevant certifications in cloud, data architecture, or data management disciplines.
