, whereyou'llplay a critical role in expanding access to exceptional, patient-centered care across the country.As an independent contractor, you can either add to your current clinical practice or build an entire telemedicine practice depending on the state(s) you are licensedin. We'reseekingexperienced, independently licensed physicians who thrive in an innovative, technology-driven environment and are excited to shape the future of healthcare. In this role,you'lldeliver comprehensive virtual care through on-demand visitsthrough a variety ofmodalities to provide patients withtimely, convenient care whenever and wherever they need it. Beyond direct patient care,you'llhave the opportunity to collaborate with internal stakeholders, support clinical initiatives, and serve as a mentor and trusted resource for fellow physicians within the Teladoc Health network.

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual medical services toTeladocmembers
  • Provide care viaa variety of virtual modalities
  • Willingness to service members requiring prioritization asidentifiedby Teladoc’s operations team
  • Work closely at times with Teladoc’s operation team to ensure network needs are fulfilled
  • Provide picture and professional profile for posting on platform

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of clinical experience as a physician.
  • Active Medical licenserequiredwith Board Certification in Family Practice, Internal Medicine,orEmergency Medicine.
  • Candidates must hold

active, unrestricted licensure in a minimum of four (4) states at thetimeof hire.

  • Must be eligible for and willing to enroll in applicable state and federal healthcare programs, with no exclusions that would prevent participation.
  • Previous Telehealthexperience preferred.

Must hold an active DEA

  • Must have a clean professional record with noboarddisciplinary actions.
  • Passionateregardingthe delivery of high-quality medical care

History of strong clinical performance

  • Willingness to serve as an ambassadorregardingthe clinical importance of virtual care
  • Proficiencywith Electronic Medical Records and computer-based applications
  • Ability to build relationships across departments

The compensation for this position is $25/phone consult, $28/video consult, $12/async consult.

Teladoc Health maintains an open application forPhysicianroles due to ongoing hiring needs, as multiple identical positions are filled on a continuous basis throughout the year.
