Assistant Nurse Manager (Supervisory)

The Assistant Nurse Manager serves as an assistant with line authority to the Emergency Department (ED) manager in providing leadership and direction to nursing staff. The Assistant Nurse Manager demonstrates a high level of clinical expertise, leadership, and creative approaches to management of complex care in the dynamic unpredictable setting of the emergency department. Must be able to meet physical demands which include strenuous physical activity to include carrying persons and equipment, walking long distances over difficult terrain, running, climbing, working long hours in primitive or arduous conditions, long periods of standing, and bending and stooping.
