• Être responsable de synthétiser des situations simples à complexes afin de les présenter à différents niveaux de gestions de montage ou gamme de fabrication destinés à la fabrication ou à l'assemblage de composantes d'avions;
• Interpréter, vérifier et approuver les dessins et autres documents provenant du service de l'ingénierie;
• Établir des stratégies d'assemblage et de fabrication de composantes d'avion;
• Définir les outils nécessaires à la fabrication ou l'assemblage de composantes d'avion afin d'assurer le tolérancement géométrique requis;
• Harmoniser l'implantation de changements d'ingénierie ou de stratégie d'assemblage et ce en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec les services d'ingénierie, de logistique des matières, de la qualité et de production et autres fonctions méthodes de l`organisation;
• Être à l'affût des façons d'améliorer les stratégies d'assemblage et de fabrication en plus de prendre part à des projets de recherche et de développement.

• Vous détenez un diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC / AEC) et/ou universitaires en génie mécanique, avionique, électrique, industriel, ou électromécanique, en fabrication aéronautique ou dans une discipline connexe;
• Vous avez au moins 5 à 10 ans d'expérience pertinente dans le milieu manufacturiers;
• Vous avez une connaissance générale des dépendances entre les différentes positions du système manufacturier aéronautique;
• Une connaissance détaillée des processus de planification, logistique, qualité et de production;
• Vous avez un fort leadership, êtes capable de remettre les processus en question, mais aussi une volonté de faire grandir vos collègues et les autres fonctions.

En raison du secteur d'activité (aéronautique), de multiples contacts avec des entités Airbus situées dans le monde entier, et d'interactions avec les fournisseurs et clients également situés dans le monde entier, la connaissance de l'anglais est demandée dans ce poste.

Job Description:

Do you have experience in tooling, ideally in the aerospace industry? Have you worked as a coordinator and are now looking to grow and develop new skills? This position is for you!

The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is seeking a Method Agent to join our Method Support team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).

You will be part of the Method Support team responsible for coordinating essential actions to resolve major issues impacting the assembly line.

The team's structure is designed to promote autonomous cross-functional collaboration, supporting each other and learning collectively.

In your role you will work closely with other Methods teams to develop and revise work methodologies as well as write work instructions for production. You will work closely with engineering, production, logistics and quality functions. Investigating the root causes of problems and participating in the analysis of solutions are all part of the job's responsibilities.

• Interpret, verify and recognize drawings and other documents from engineering department;
• Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components;
• Define the tools needed to manufacture or assemble aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing;
• Harmonize the implementation of engineering or assembly strategy changes by working in close collaboration with the engineering, materials logistics, quality and production;
• Be on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies in addition to taking part in research and development projects.

• You hold a college diploma (DEC / AEC) and/or a university degree in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial, or electromechanical engineering, in aeronautical manufacturing, or in a related discipline;
• You have 5 to 10 years experience in the manufacturing sector;
• You have a general knowledge of the interdependencies between the different positions within the aeronautical manufacturing system;
• A detailed knowledge of planning, logistics, quality, and production processes;
• You have strong leadership, are capable of challenging processes, but also have a willingness to help your colleagues and other departments grow.

Due to the sector of activity (aerospace), frequent contacts with Airbus entities worldwide, and interactions with suppliers and clients also located across the globe, proficiency in English is required for this position.
