STATE CONSTRUCTION AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT OFFICER (INDEF) (TITLE 5)

This National Guard position is for a STATE CONSTRUCTION AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT OFFICER (INDEF) (TITLE 5), the Position Description Number T5403P01 and is part of the UT JFHQ, The selecting supervisor for this vacancy is COL JON D. RICHARDSON. This job is open to the public. This is an Indefinite Appointment with possibility to non-competitively convert to Permanent Tenure at Later Date. Must be a US Citizen. This position is subject to provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Pending analysis, you may be required to complete a new 1-year probationary period when moved to this position IAW CNGBI 1400.25. Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. Must be able to obtain and maintain at minimum a SECRET security clearance. Potential for incentive pay. Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day. The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial vehicles to perform temporary duty assignments. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. The duties and responsibilities of your job may significantly impact the environment. You are responsible to maintain awareness of your environmental responsibilities as dictated by legal and regulatory requirements, your organization, and its changing mission. This position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration. This designation will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.
