About the role
The Federal Air Marshal (FAM) serves as Assistant Federal Security Director-Law Enforcement (AFSD-LE) at a Category I, II, or III airport. Reporting to the Special Agent in Charge (SAC), Incumbent will work closely with the Federal Security Director (FSD) to ensure airport safety and security. This position operates under limited direction as a specialist or team lead for various work activities.
You must possess U.S. Citizenship or be a U.S. National. You must complete a favorable Background Investigation (BI). You must have reached the minimum age (21) at the time of application. Selective Service registration is required. Additional Conditions of Employment in Qualifications Section. If you fail to meet the conditions of employment or any other pre-employment requirements, such as missing any of the scheduled appointments, the hiring agency may rescind their tentative offer of employment. TSA will not make a monetary payment for any leave forfeited under these circumstances.
