Facilities Engineering Team
, which is responsible for delivering engineering solutions that support the reliability, redundancy, capacity, and long-term growth of critical facility infrastructure. This team plays an essential role in supporting Intel's advanced manufacturing and research environments by ensuring facility systems operate safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of mechanical and HVAC systems, including: • Oil-free air systems
- Chilled water plants
- Boiler systems
- Environmental abatement systems
- Compliance exhaust systems
- Design, evaluate, and troubleshoot mechanical systems to identify root causes and implement performance improvements.
- Develop engineering scopes of work for mechanical infrastructure projects.
- Review system designs and engineering evaluations to ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and compliance.
- Conduct feasibility studies and testing for new and modified system designs.
- Support design validation, prototype development, and testing activities.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver effective engineering solutions.
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and operational requirements.
- Develop and implement long-term mechanical system roadmaps and asset replacement strategies to support facility growth and expansion.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Math, Materials Science) with 0-1 years of relevant experience gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, laboratory work, or hands-on training.
OR
- Master's degree in a relevant STEM discipline with no prior professional experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through academic, internship, research, or project experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic technical environment.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $89,010.00-125,660.00 USD
