Role Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the external communications strategy for HP’s Core Print businesses, providing clear guidance and recommendations on external positioning, news opportunities, and high-visibility business moments.
- Shape proactive storytelling that builds awareness and third-party validation of HP’s Print business, identifying compelling stories across products, customers, innovation, and industry trends.
- Drive product and portfolio storytelling across hardware, services, and supplies, including new product introductions, platform updates , and ecosystem narratives connected to HP’s broader business and innovation priorities.
- Oversee media and analyst engagement strategy, including proactive outreach, briefings, product reviews, and industry narratives. Identify and manage emerging issues, advising on external communications strategy and response.
- Manage agency partners across planning, execution, and performance measurement.
Experience Recommended
- 8+ years of external communications experience, with demonstrated depth in product and portfolio communications, ideally within technology or complex B2B/B2C environments
- Strong news judgment and experience working directly with media and industry analysts
- Strong executive presence and judgment, with the ability to counsel senior leaders and influence across a highly matrixed organization
- Experience navigating sensitive or high-visibility external communications issues
- Ability to balance strategic counsel with hands-on execution , with experience across both in-house and agency environments strongly preferred

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
