Safety and Occupational Health Manager

You will serve as a Safety and Occupational Health Manager with the National Park Service. For a more detailed list of assignments and duty stations, please the "Duties" section below. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license throughout employment. You are required to wear a uniform and comply with uniform standards. A uniform allowance will be provided. You are required to complete training, obtain and maintain a government credit card with travel and purchase authority. You may be required to work on-call, evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime and shift work. You may be required to travel overnight away from home up to 15 nights per month. You must obtain a government charge card for travel purposes. Some positions may require less travel. Must maintain the physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including, but not limited to: walking and hiking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces, crouching, climbing, stooping, crawling under buildings and in attics, etc... in adverse weather conditions and in high elevation environments. Some positions require a respirator fit test which requires pre-employment and periodic medical examinations. The Yellowstone National Park position requires the ability to travel by helicopter and snowmobile.
