Senior Consultant - Business Transformation - Business Consulting

At EY, we're helping organisations navigate some of their most complex transformation challenges. As a Senior Consultant within our Business Transformation practice, you will play a key role in designing, mobilising and delivering large-scale business transformation, program delivery and strategic change initiatives for leading public and private sector organisations.

You will work alongside senior client stakeholders and high-performing EY teams to shape strategies, establish delivery foundations and drive successful implementation of major transformation programs. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of industries, with experience in Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure or Defence viewed favourably.

This is a hybrid position based in Boorloo – Perth.

Your key responsibilities

As a valued member of the team you will:

• Support the successful delivery of complex business transformation, program management and project delivery engagements across a range of industries

• Work with senior client stakeholders to define objectives, solve complex business challenges and deliver sustainable outcomes

• Establish and maintain effective governance, reporting and delivery frameworks to support large-scale programs and strategic initiatives

• Deliver project, program and transformation management services across the full lifecycle

• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement activities and decision-making forums to drive alignment and achieve program objectives

• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, issues and opportunities across transformation initiatives

• Build strong relationships across EY's network, leveraging industry expertise and leading practices to deliver exceptional client outcomes

• Support the development and mentoring of junior team members while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture

Skills and attributes for success

• 3+ years' experience within a consulting, transformation, project management or program delivery environment

• Demonstrated experience delivering business transformation, organisational change, operating model, technology or strategic delivery initiatives

• Strong project and program management capability, including planning, delivery, governance, risk management, reporting and stakeholder engagement

• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships

• A proactive and outcomes-focused mindset, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate competing priorities and solve client challenges

• Bring a team-focused mindset and actively contribute to the broad range of opportunities across the Perth Consulting Team

• Experience in one or more of the following sectors is highly regarded:

• Power and Utilities

• Energy and Mining

• Defence

• Advantageous Qualifications:

• Current Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1 or NV2), or eligibility to obtain one

• Project and Program Management:

• PRINCE 2

• PMP

• AgilePM

• MSP (Managing Successful Programmes)

• MOP (Management of Portfolios)

• SAFe or Scrum Master
