QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (T32, MERIT)

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT This position is being filled under Merit Promotion procedures and is open to current employees only. Minnesota Air National Guard Membership is required. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. May be required to successfully complete a probationary period. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission. Higher grades may apply; however, may need to take a reduction in rank. Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation Upon selection, individuals will undergo a background check to validate suitability for employment with the federal government as permitted by law, regulation, Presidential order or other authority. Suitability is dependent upon the particular requirements for security clearance, sensitivity level, and DOD IT network access. Items checked include, but are not limited to all criminal history record information, employment history, education and fiscal accountability/responsibility.** MILITARY COMPATIBILITY: Upon selection, individuals will undergo a background check to validate suitability for employment with the federal government as permitted by law, regulation, Presidential order or other authority.
