The Role

Your Role:

As the functional lead for SAP MM and SAP Ariba, you will drive the configuration, management, and continuous improvement of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations. You will oversee critical purchasing processes-spanning requisitions, purchase order lifecycles, and invoice verification-while maintaining vendor master data accuracy and smooth integrations with S/4HANA. In this position, you will design system enhancements, handle custom ABAP workflows, and take full ownership of procurement-related incident management and change requests. Acting as a strategic bridge between IT teams and business units, you will leverage your deep procurement knowledge and strong communication skills to maximize purchasing efficiency.

What you will do:

Configure MM & Ariba Modules:

Lead the end-to-end functional configuration, optimization, and alignment of SAP Materials Management (MM) and Ariba modules to streamline purchasing operations. •

Oversee P2P Lifecycle

Direct and manage the entire Procure-to-Pay (P2P) technical lifecycle, spanning purchase requisitions, purchase orders (POs), and automated invoice verification. •

Manage Master Data

Govern procurement master data and proactively troubleshoot technical integration points across the SAP S/4HANA digital core. •

Design System Enhancements

Analyze complex procurement requirements and design high-impact system enhancements, custom features, and functional specifications to boost supply chain efficiency. •

Resolve Functional Incidents

Provide dedicated support during core business hours, executing rapid troubleshooting for daily system incidents and managed change requests. •

Leverage ABAP Workflows

Utilize deep expertise in materials management alongside ABAP custom workflows to orchestrate smooth, automated approval routings. •

Orchestrate Cloud Integrations

Direct and maintain reliable cloud integration channels to enable seamless, real-time data exchange between Ariba and backend ERP modules. •

Partner with Stakeholders

Bridge the gap between technical IT delivery teams and procurement stakeholders through strong communication and clear functional translation.

Required Skills and Experience

5+ years of experience

working with SAP procurement modules. •

Expertise in SAP MM

(Materials Management) and SAP Ariba cloud integration. •

Deep understanding

of procurement business processes and vendor lifecycle management. •

Hands-on experience

with S/4HANA procurement features and ABAP integration for custom workflows. •

Strong communication skills

for managing relationships with procurement and IT stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Master's degree

and relevant certification(s).
