Job Summary

The Senior Test Specialist in API/Webservices Testing, sdet, selenium will be responsible for leading and executing testing strategies and processes related to API and Webservices testing. The role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through automated testing using tools like Selenium.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Designing, developing, and implementing automated tests for apis and web services.
  2. Identifying, analyzing, and documenting defects and issues in software applications.
  3. Collaborating with cross functional teams to understand requirements and develop effective testing strategies.
  4. Creating test cases, scripts, and scenarios for automated testing.
  5. Conducting performance and load testing on apis and web services.
  6. Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  7. Participating in agile development processes and continuous integration practices. Experience on RestAPI

Skill Requirements

  1. Proficient in api testing tools such as postman, soapui, or restassured.
  2. Strong experience in automated testing using selenium.
  3. Knowledge of software development life cycle (sdlc) and testing methodologies.
  4. Familiarity with programming languages like java, python, or javascript.
  5. Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (ci/cd) processes.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in API testing, Selenium, or software testing methodologies are a plus.
