Market Pricing Intelligence Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor market prices for Schneider Electric products across authorized channels, including distributors, sub-distributors, e-commerce platforms, and DIY retailers.
- Benchmark Schneider Electric pricing, discounts, and promotions against key competitors such as ABB, Siemens, Eaton, Rockwell, and Vertiv.
- Build, maintain, and improve pricing intelligence databases, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Identify and monitor gray market activity
- Conduct pricing and competitiveness analyses to support price lists, discount structures, SPA programs, and commercial policy decisions.
- Deliver executive-level reports and actionable recommendations to pricing committees, business units, and commercial teams.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Brand Protection, Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams to address pricing and channel risks.
- Expand pricing intelligence coverage from transactional products into systems and solutions portfolios.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Economics, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Some experience in Pricing, Market Intelligence, Competitive Intelligence, Business Analytics, or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of pricing concepts, including price lists, discounts, margins, price positioning, and elasticity.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple information sources.
- Fluency in English
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial, electrical, manufacturing, or B2B environments.
- Understanding of distributor, channel, e-commerce, and DIY market dynamics.
- Knowledge of competitive landscapes or similar players / competitors
- Familiarity with SQL, Alteryx, AI-enabled analytics tools, and automation.
- Exposure to gray market
