Securing Travel, Protecting People - At the Transportation Security Administration, you will serve in a high-stakes environment to safeguard the American way of life. In cities across the country, you would secure airports, seaports, railroads, highways, and/or public transit systems, thus protecting America's transportation infrastructure and ensuring freedom of movement for people and commerce. You must possess U.S. Citizenship or be a U.S. National. You must have reached the minimum age (18) at the time of application. You must complete a favorable Background Investigation (BI). Selective Service registration is required. You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. H band requirements: Must have a current FAC-C (Professional) or DAWIA Level I or current GSA Lease Contracting Officer (LCO) equivalent Certification. A copy of your current certification is required for the application process. Must have at least 4 years of progressive contracting experience, with the ability to obtain a TSA Level 1 warrant, within 12 months upon appointment. I band requirements: Must have a current FAC-C (Professional) or DAWIA Level II or III current GSA Lease Contracting Officer (LCO) equivalent Certification. A copy of your current certification is required for the application process. Must have at least 6 years of progressive contracting experience, with the ability to obtain a TSA Level 2 Intermediate warrant within 12 months upon appointment.
