About the Role

We are seeking a

Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

to join our high‑performing engineering team. In this role, you will architect, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support mission‑critical enterprise systems. You’ll collaborate closely with software and data engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions for our clients. This is a hands‑on senior role for someone who thrives in automation‑first environments, enjoys solving complex cloud challenges, and wants to influence DevOps strategy across multiple projects. You’ll be working with a team of ImagineX ’ers ensuring strong alignment and a smooth partnership with the client. This is a 100% remote full-time position.

What You’ll Do

Architect, implement, and maintain

AWS cloud

infrastructure using

Terraform

, with a strong focus on scalable,

Kubernetes‑based architectures

Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using

GitHub Actions

to support containerized and Kubernetes‑deployed applications.

Manage and automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling across multiple environments, including

Kubernetes clusters

and supporting services.

Deploy, secure, and maintain Amazon EKS clusters and Kubernetes workloads, including cluster lifecycle management, node group optimization, and workload orchestration.

Troubleshoot production issues across AWS and Kubernetes environments, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term reliability improvements.

Champion DevOps culture, automation, and continuous improvement across teams

What You Need • 5–8+ years

of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.

Deep expertise with

AWS cloud

infrastructure using

Terraform

, with a strong focus on scalable,

Kubernetes‑based

architectures.

Strong experience with

GitHub Actions

and scripting skills in

Python

Experience with Anthropic Claude

, including prompt design, model capabilities/limitations, and best practices for using Claude in development, automation, and documentation workflows.

Ability to

hit the ground running with Claude‑based tooling

, leveraging it for code generation, architectural exploration, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency.

Nice to Have

AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator, etc.)

Experience with service mesh, API gateways, or distributed systems

Background in .NET, Node.js, or backend engineering
