Functional Testing Consulting, Finance Managed Services

As a Project - Consultant, Finance Managed Services, on the project, you will:

• Support the Agile delivery team by validating that user stories meet acceptance criteria throughout development.
• Design and write test cases/scripts tied directly to user story acceptance criteria, including edge cases;
• Execute functional test cycles each sprint alongside developers' unit testing to confirm components work end-to-end; logging, tracking, and retesting defects per the team's defect management process
• Contribute to test coverage metrics and the overall test management plan; identifying candidates for automation to support regression testing; and collaborating with developers, product owners, and UAT stakeholders to ensure quality gates are met before release. Requires strong attention to detail, Agile/Scrum familiarity, and clear defect documentation skills.

Required :

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years quality assurance and testing experience.
• 2+ years of experience supporting federal government clients in a functional testing capacity utilizing Github.
• 2+ years of experience in testing automation in support of Agile development teams.
• Ability to travel 5-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

• Experience leading a functional testing team.
• Experience converting manual testing to automated using Git following Agile processes

This compensation range is specific to Arlington, VA and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $72,900 to $121,500.
