Job Summary
In this role as Design Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) processes, utilizing CAD Design Skills, particularly Creo software. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient and effective product design and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design for manufacturing & assembly (dfma) initiatives within the organization
- Utilize cad design skills to create detailed product designs and engineering drawings
- Implement and optimize design processes to enhance manufacturing efficiency
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to support product development from concept to production
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to team members
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement through dfma analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cad design and engineering software
Skill Requirements
- Proficiency in design for manufacturing & assembly (dfma) principles and methodologies
- Strong cad design skills with expertise in creo software
- Solid understanding of product design, engineering, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Other Requirements
1.Relevant certifications in CAD design and Design for Manufacturing & Assembly are a plus.
