Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITOM Developer responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining IT Operations Management modules including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB. The individual will work closely with stakeholders to ensure efficient monitoring, automation, and optimization of IT infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement ServiceNow ITOM modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management.
  • Configure and maintain CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, normalization, and governance.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Splunk).
  • Develop MID Server configurations and troubleshoot connectivity/performance issues.
  • Create workflows, business rules, scripts, and automation solutions.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and design scalable ITOM solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams for incident, problem, and change management alignment.
  • Support upgrades, patches, and platform performance tuning.

Maintain documentation and technical design artifacts

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with MID Server setup and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of CMDB data model and CSDM framework.
  • Experience in integrating third-party monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Python) or automation tools.
