General Manager

• Holds overall responsibility for the local organization, including its people, performance, and results.

• Establishes and follows up the Norwegian safety training goals and associated action plans.

• Carries overall operational responsibility for the local safety training center.

• Plans and ensures optimal utilization of resources, capacity, and competence.

• Delivers results in line with budget and provides monthly performance reporting to management.

• Ensures thorough understanding of, and compliance with, the management system, procedures, handbooks, and IT tools.

• Ensures that the quality and delivery of safety training comply with accreditation requirements and internal course satisfaction standards.

• Ensures that statutory and customer requirements are consistently met.

• Works closely with the Commercial department to follow up sales and marketing activities.

• Acts as an ambassador for MT and its values.

• Contributes to a good working environment.

• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

• Contributes to gathering market intelligence.

• Monitors customer satisfaction.

• Monitors HSEQ performance.

• Represents MT at industry events and conferences.

• Contributes strategy and new business opportunities.

• Maintains professional networks.

• Proven leadership experience in operational management.

• Strong knowledge of Norwegian offshore and maritime legislation.

• Commercially astute with strong business acumen.
