Position Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished Director of Sales to join a fully remote national sales organization within the professional staffing industry.
This is a senior individual-contributor sales position focused on new client acquisition, business development and revenue generation. This is not a people-management role.
The ideal candidate is a proven hunter, relationship builder and staffing-industry rainmaker with an established network of enterprise and mid-market decision-makers across the United States.
The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, developing and closing new business opportunities while expanding the organization's U.S. market presence.
The primary focus will be on growing professional staffing solutions including MSP services for Direct Hire recruiting, Direct Hire Staffing and Contingent Staffing for enterprise and mid-market organizations.
This is a Hunter Role

Key Responsibilities New Business Development Prospect and acquire new Fortune 1000 and mid-market clients across the United States. Develop new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, industry relationships and an established professional network. Identify and qualify prospective clients with staffing and talent acquisition requirements. Develop and execute strategic business-development plans focused on sustainable revenue growth. Independently create and manage a pipeline of qualified new-business opportunities. Sales & Client Acquisition Manage the complete sales process from initial outreach and discovery through negotiation, contract execution and client onboarding. Sell professional staffing solutions including: Direct Hire Staffing Contingent Staffing MSP-related staffing solutions Professional recruiting solutions Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders. Build relationships with decision-makers across: Talent Acquisition Procurement Human Resources Operations Contingent Workforce teams MSP organizations Executive leadership Consistently achieve or exceed individual sales and revenue targets. Develop relationships that generate repeat and expanded business opportunities. Account Expansion & Collaboration Identify opportunities to expand staffing services within newly acquired and existing accounts. Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and strategic industry partners. Collaborate with fulfillment and account-management teams to ensure successful client launches. Support long-term account growth and client satisfaction. Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events and client meetings. Required Qualifications Professional Staffing Sales Experience 10+ years of successful professional staffing sales experience. Strong experience selling staffing solutions in one or more professional disciplines, including: Information Technology Finance & Accounting Engineering Other professional staffing disciplines Proven track record of acquiring new mid-market and enterprise clients. Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding significant individual sales and revenue-production targets. Demonstrated ability to independently generate new business rather than relying primarily on existing accounts. Enterprise Sales Experience Experience selling staffing solutions to Fortune 1000 and/or mid-market organizations. Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Ability to navigate procurement processes, commercial negotiations and client contracting. Strong relationships with Talent Acquisition, Procurement, MSP, Contingent Workforce and executive decision-makers. Established network within the U.S. professional staffing and talent ecosystem. Business Development / Hunter Skills Strong hunter mentality with a demonstrated history of new-logo acquisition. Ability to independently identify prospects, create opportunities and close new clients. Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills. Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication abilities. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving organization. Strong understanding of professional staffing sales cycles and client buying processes. Education Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Technology
Strong proficiency with standard sales and business productivity tools, including:
CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM Microsoft Excel Microsoft PowerPoint Microsoft Outlook Zoom Travel Ability to travel approximately 2–3 times per year for industry conferences, networking events and/or client meetings. Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to healthcare staffing or light-industrial staffing will not be considered.
Candidates with a combination of healthcare/light-industrial experience and substantial professional staffing sales experience may be considered based on the strength of their overall background.
Important Note About Management Experience
This is an individual-contributor sales position.
Prior people-management or sales-management experience is not required.
