About the role

We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) to lead the rollout and continuous improvement of TPM practices across our manufacturing operations in Europe. This role is primarily leadership-, methodology- and coordination-focused, rather than a hands-on technical maintenance role. The SME TPM Manager will connect Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, IT/Digital and external partners to align priorities, drive reliability improvement, and strengthen a proactive maintenance culture. An important part of the role is guiding the deployment and evolution of SAP PM and supporting the identification of IIoT use cases that help prevent equipment breakdowns and enable data-driven decisions.

TPM Leadership & Alignment

• Lead and coordinate the

implementation and sustainment of TPM pillars

across sites by animating the

Regional TPM program.

• Serve as a

TPM reference person

, ensuring common standards, ways of working, and alignment. • Bring together cross-functional teams to improve

equipment reliability, availability, and performance

. • Facilitate

problem-solving workshops

to address recurring issues and losses. • Monitor and review

TPM and maintenance performance indicators

(e.g. OEE, MTBF, MTTR). • Ability to deliver trainings

AM & Digital Coordination

• Coordinate the

SAP PM deployment and improvement roadmap

in line with TPM principles. • Act as the main

business interface for SAP PM

, working closely with IT and system partners. • Support sites in using SAP PM effectively and consistently. • Regional SPOC for Maintenance Control Tower

Advanced Maintenance Technologies & Predictive Maintenance

• Lead the identification and prioritization of

condition-based and predictive maintenance

use cases, enhanced equipment connectivity, monitoring technologies, and asset health data. • Work

cross-functionally

with Engineering, Digital, and OT/IT teams to translate maintenance and reliability challenges into

scalable, operational solutions.

• Drive the regional transition from

reactive and time-based maintenance to condition-based and predictive approaches

, embedded within TPM standards. • Ensure

advanced maintenance initiatives

deliver measurable business value and are fully aligned with SAP PM processes, data models, and maintenance strategies.

Leadership & Communication

• Coordinate activities across functions

without direct line management responsibility

. • Support and coach site teams on

and continuous improvement

. • Communicate progress, challenges, and results to

site leadership and senior management

. • Contribute to broader

Operational Excellence and Lean initiatives

Required skills

• Experience in

TPM, Maintenance Excellence,, or Manufacturing Operations

. • Practical experience supporting or leading

TPM implementation

in an industrial environment. • Solid understanding of

maintenance processes and asset reliability

. • Experience with

SAP PM projects or deployments

. • Strong

communication and change management

skills • Experience with Condition based maintenance, predictive maintenance or advanced technologies. • Expose to asset connectivity, diagnosis and advanced maintenance solutions • Knowledge of

/ Operational Excellence

• Relevant certifications (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma) are a plus. • Experience supporting
