Staff Cardiologist (General)

The Cincinnati VA Medical Center (VAMC) is searching for a full-time Staff Cardiologist to fulfill the current staffing needs of our facility. The Cincinnati VAMC is an active teaching hospital that is affiliated with and in walking distance of the University of Cincinnati. The Cardiologist will primarily serve in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. The 2-page Resume requirement does not apply to this occupational series. For more information, refer to Required Documents below. This is an OPEN CONTINOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until December 31, 2026. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be August 1st, 2026 ,with subsequent cut-off dates on the 1st of each month. Eligible applications received after that date will be referred at regular intervals or as additional vacancies occur on an as-needed basis until positions are filled. U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
