Field Service Power Generation Technician

Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to generators and components at the customer's site. We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in (West Valley, UT). In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: • Completing repair activities on generators or components • Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner • Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools • Maintain detailed records of service • Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies • Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products • Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: • Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. • High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. • Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products. • Basic Diesel Engine experience. • Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components. • Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and able to perform commissioning on a new ATS installation.

• A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire • Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older • A current valid license is required for this role • This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations • This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical • 3 years driving experience • This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use -Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age

Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Current relevant electrical certification Locally valid driving permit This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
