We make products for the data center, utility, industrial, commercial, machine building, residential, aerospace and mobility markets. @@HD@@ What you'll do:@@/HD@@ • Responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes for B-Line aluminum cable tray products, including ladder, ventilated trough, and solid-bottom tray systems. The role ensures product quality, manufacturing efficiency, cost competitiveness, and compliance with industry standards through technical leadership and production support across the entire manufacturing process. • Develop, validate, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for aluminum cable tray products. • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including SOPs, Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, and Control Plans. • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), pilot builds, process qualification, and production readiness activities. • Establish and optimize aluminum sheet and extrusion processing methods including punching, stamping, CNC punching, cutting, bending, and fabrication. • Provide technical support for extrusion profile processing, surface finishing, deburring, corrosion resistance enhancement, and customer-specific coating processes. • Develop and improve assembly processes for cable tray systems and associated hardware to enhance structural integrity and installation efficiency. • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to quality, productivity, equipment, and process capability using structured problem-solving methodologies. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools such as Kaizen, VSM, 5S, and SMED. • Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to implement process controls and drive corrective actions using 8D, 5-Why, and other quality tools. • Support automation and semi-automation projects to improve throughput, consistency, and operational efficiency. • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable industry standards such as NEMA VE 1, IEC 61537, and Eaton engineering requirements. • Drive cost reduction initiatives through material utilization optimization, scrap reduction, labor productivity improvement, and equipment efficiency enhancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or related disciplines. • Minimum 3 years and preferably up to 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience. • Experience in sheet metal fabrication, aluminum processing, extrusion products, cable tray systems, or related industrial manufacturing environments. • Experience supporting NPI, process development, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Experience in multinational companies or industrial product manufacturers such as Eaton, ABB, Schneider Electric, Hilti, Legrand, or similar companies is preferred. • Familiarity with cable tray products and manufacturing systems. • Experience implementing manufacturing automation projects.
