The opportunity
Join our Data & Analytics team and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise data solutions. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer (SDET), you will help build confidence in our Azure-based analytics ecosystem by designing automated testing solutions that support data pipelines, warehousing, and business intelligence reporting.
In this role, you will work closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and business stakeholders to establish quality standards, improve testing practices, and ensure that data-driven insights are accurate, trusted, and scalable.

• Drive quality across modern Azure-based data and analytics platforms.
• Build and enhance automated testing capabilities for data engineering and reporting solutions.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data throughout its lifecycle.
• Support the validation of complex data transformations, integrations, and business rules.
• Contribute to the development of testing standards, quality gates, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and improve solution reliability.
• Integrate testing activities into CI/CD processes and continuous delivery practices.
• Investigate data quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a quality-first mindset within the Data & Analytics organization.
Your background
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience in test automation, software quality engineering, or SDET roles.
• Solid programming skills in Python and experience with test automation frameworks.
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with large-scale data environments.
• Experience validating ETL/ELT processes, data warehouses, or analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure data services, including Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD practices and DataOps/TestOps practices.
• Understanding of data quality, data modeling, and analytics testing principles.
• Experience supporting reporting and business intelligence solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in international teams.
