Field Supervisor

This vacancy is for a Field Supervisor, reporting to one of the US Census Bureau's Regional Offices. The specific duty location and reporting structure will be determined based on the applicant's home address. Applicants selected for this position will have their home as their Duty Station and will be required to travel throughout the assigned local and surrounding areas. You must be 18 years old. You must be a U.S. Citizen. You must maintain a residence in the county corresponding to the address provided on your application. You will be required to sign a residency agreement, which will provide additional information. You must have good hearing and the ability to read small print found on surveys. You must be in good physical condition to drive, walk, stand, and climb stairs for extended periods. You will occasionally be required to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs. You must be willing to travel throughout the assigned local and surrounding areas. You must have access to a vehicle (or public transportation) so that you can travel throughout the assigned geographic area. You must establish and maintain a safe work environment in your residence. You must have an internet connection at your residence. If internet is not available in your area, must be able to connect to a cellular network. You must be willing to use all methods of communication (face to face, phone call, emails, letter, etc.). You must be willing to accept all assignments and work multiple surveys. You must be suitable for Federal employment. You must be registered for Selective Service, if applicable, at time of hire (www.sss.gov). You must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. You will be required to serve a 1-year supervisory trial period.
