Supervisory Transportation Specialist (Discretionary Infrastructure Grants)- SME (Open to both U.S. Citizens and Federal Employees)

This position serves as a Supervisory Transportation Specialist in the Office of Infrastructure Deployment advising the Under Secretary for Policy, Assistant Secretary for Policy, Deputy Secretary and the Secretary. The Supervisory Transportation Specialist will oversee a safety-focused discretionary grant program, develop Infrastructure Policy regarding road, rail, transit, and port infrastructure and provide leadership on the development of infrastructure policy. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
