HAZMAT SPECIALIST (Title 32)

This position is located at the 149 Logistics Readiness Squadron on Kelly AFB in San Antonio, TX. The primary purpose of this position is to provide management control, oversight, coordination, and implementation of the base "HAZMAT Pharmacy" program and operation. Texas is one of 9 states with NO state income tax. Appointment Factor(s): This is an Excepted Service position that requires active membership in a compatible military assignment in the Texas Army National Guard and wear of the military uniform. Remarks: HAZMAT TRAINING/ESSOH-MIS KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED THIS POSITION SUBJECT TO ROTATING SHIFTS (0630-1700/1400-0000), Must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance within 1 year of appointment. Upon selection, individuals must be assigned to a compatible military AFSC/MOS in accordance with statutes and National Guard Bureau regulations and must obtain/maintain all requirements of the AFSC/MOS.
