Health System Specialist (Training)

This position is located in the Change Management Directorate within the Chief Medical Office (CMO) for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM), within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA), where the incumbent serves as a Senior Training Strategist. This position will be physically located in a VA owned or leased office/space and require up to 75% official travel. Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 Physical Requirements: The work requires moderate level of physical activity including, walking, climbing stairs and conducting on site evaluations. The work requires up to 75% overnight travel. Work Environment: Work is normally performed in an adequately lighted and climate-controlled office. Normal safety precautions are adequate. Position is in a virtual organization. There may be some infrequent exposure to hazards encountered in health care facilities.
