About the role

The Clerk's Office of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York is now accepting applications for the position of Courtroom Deputy in its Manhattan office. As a member of a chambers team, the Courtroom Deputy functions in an administrative capacity, manages a judge's caseload, and provides courtroom assistance. As a condition of employment, the selected candidate must successfully complete an Office of Personnel Management background investigation including an FBI National Criminal History Fingerprint check. Employment will be considered provisional, pending a favorable suitability determination based on the results of the background investigation. Employment references may be checked prior to a job offer.
