The Opportunity
Responsible for achieving sales targets for a specific IT product/solution, for example, content. Carries an overlay quota. Supports Account Managers in maximizing the value of their accounts and increasing account penetration. May provide training or communication inputs to Account Managers. Creates sales plans for product/ solution and works through Account Managers, Pre-Sales, Partners, or other sales teams to implement them. May have direct ownership of some single-product clients, especially smaller non-named accounts. Understands how the product/ solution fits within the broader company portfolio, solution, or customer environment.

• Market Strategy and Acquisition (Front-end)
Account Planning: Develop and execute the sales strategy for key accounts or specific territories, identifying long-term growth opportunities.
• Competitive Analysis: Monitor the market to understand competitors' offerings and define Hitachi Energy's Unique Value Proposition (UVP) in relation to them.
• Demand Generation: Act as a technology "promoter," delivering technical presentations and seminars to influence customer specifications before the tender is launched.
• Complex Tender Management (Capture Teams)
Tender Leadership: Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Procurement) to prepare high-impact technical and commercial bids.
• Risk Analysis: Evaluate the contractual and financial risks of proposals to ensure they meet the corporation's required profit margins.
• Solution Optimization: Work with factories to ensure the proposed solution is the most competitive, both technically and economically.
• Contract Negotiation and Closing
High-Level Negotiation: Lead commercial and contractual discussions with purchasing departments and executives of client companies.
• Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all sales processes comply strictly with Hitachi Energy's Trade Compliance policies and Code of Conduct.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
• Professional in Electrical or electromechanical engineering
• More than two years of experience in the related functions
• Knowledge in SAP, Autocad, IA is desirable
• Availability to travel
