About the role
This position is located at US Mint, Protection Department - Fort Knox Police. As a Police Officer, you will safeguard the US assets and artifacts including the nation's precious metal reserves; protect United States Mint employees, visitors, equipment, facilities and other resources; provide expert security advice and counsel to the US Mint, other governments; and enforce Federal, State and local laws.

Physical Requirements (Based on an 8-hour shift) Must wear clothing and gear weighing no more than a total of 30 pounds: Must wear equipment belt (with equipment) weighing no more than 10 lbs.; Must wear body armor weighing no more than 10 lbs.; Must wear riot gear weighing no more than 10 lbs.; And be physically capable of satisfactorily performing the following requirements in the specified timeframes.
