About the Role
We're a Series A/B AI-native financial planning & analysis (FP&A) SaaS company — a lean, high-output team of ~40 — looking for a
Staff Fullstack Engineer
to help lead platform development from the ground up. You'll work directly with the CEO, CTO, and engineering team to shape architecture, drive the product roadmap, and build software that has an outsized impact on finance teams at scale.
This is an early, high-leverage opportunity for an engineer who wants to be a true technical pillar: setting direction, raising the bar on engineering culture, and shipping product that matters.
What You'll Do
• Partner closely with leadership and teammates to prioritize and execute on the product roadmap.
• Design, develop, and own complex features and software components end-to-end.
• Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested code across the full stack.
• Help establish engineering best practices and lay the foundation for a high-performing, healthy team culture.
• Collaborate with Design and Operations to continuously improve the platform day-to-day.
Must-haves (dealbreakers)
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience contributing to system design or architecture.
• True full-stack proficiency — building features with
TypeScript/JavaScript
on the frontend and

on the backend (or strong frontend/React focus with solid backend competency).
Strongly required
• Hands-on experience with
React
; ideally a well-balanced fullstack engineer or someone who skews frontend.
• Proficiency with
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
and
BigQuery
— ability to architect, deploy, and operate scalable cloud services.
Nice to have / valued
• Experience modeling, querying, and optimizing
MongoDB
schemas for performance at scale.
• Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; comfort with modern testing frameworks.
• Track record of providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers.
• Proven ability to collaborate with executive stakeholders (CEO/CTO) and cross-functional teams to define strategy and requirements.
• Background at product-driven tech companies (e.g. enterprise software, data platforms, or consulting-adjacent SaaS).
