Assigns chart deficiencies based on CCMC Medical Staff Rules and Regulations. Communicates with HIM Records Management, HIM Transcription and HIM Quality Compliance staff to report missing and incorrect document issues. @@HD@@ Qualifications: @@/HD@@ • Must have an Associates degree in Health Information Management OR a High School Diploma or equivalent with two (2) years of hospital-centered office experience. • Requires a broad knowledge of medical terminology, record management concepts, data integrity of patient related information, and HIM office applications. • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software. • Must be detail- oriented, analytical, have strong organizational, writing/interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. • Must work well independently with minimal supervision and have the ability to solve problems appropriately using job knowledge and current policies and procedures. • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred.
