The role involves building scalable microservices and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS technologies, implementing secure authentication solutions, and supporting the modernization of enterprise platforms. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performing solutions, contribute to engineering best practices, and help drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives. This position plays a key role in ensuring the scalability, security, and resiliency of technology solutions that support Vanguard's business objectives. @@HD@@ Responsibilites@@/HD@@ • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and APIs. • Build secure, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. • Develop and maintain AWS-based microservices and serverless solutions. • Implement API authentication and authorization using OAuth, Okta, and JWT. • Monitor application performance using Splunk, Honeycomb, and CloudWatch. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvements. • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices. • Support production applications and drive service reliability.
