Warehouse Pharmacy Technician

Job description PetMeds is currently in search of highly talented Distribution pharmacy technicians. You will play a critical part in our organization. You will be picking and pulling pet medication in a fast paced, highly automated Distribution Center while our onsite pharmacist verifies the prescriptions. MUST be able to work at the corporate offices located in Delray on Congress Avenue between Linton and Atlantic. Hours are Monday 8:30-6:00 Tuesday –Friday 10:00-6:00 and every other Saturday 9-1. We are currently growing our team. MUST be a registered pharmacy technician in the state of Florida. This is a physically demanding position. Standing on your feet for 8 hours is required. The position is not hard but the work is repetitive in nature. duties include anything from in-bounding and storing inventory in warehouse, filling prescription orders, data entry, picking and sending shipments to customers. Ability to stand for extending periods of time, walking up to 2 miles per shift and lift up to 25 pounds Interviews are currently being conducted. What you will be doing: ·Dispense prescription orders at a pick to light station ·Ensure the accuracy of all prescription orders/labels ·Ability to match prescription product to prescription label ·Ensure all orders are NEATLY labeled and packed to preserve product integrity ·Comply with all security measures, quality standards and policies and procedures ·Assist in breaking down product to restock your station ·Work closely with your pharmacist to ensure any prescription label concerns are verified and corrected ·Always have the final pet and their pet parents as your ultimate priority ·Responsible for keeping tech license valid and meeting continuing education requirements ·Complete Inventory Cycle Counts to verify inventory accuracy ·Perform other duties as necessary and assigned Qualifications: ·Must be able to work Monday 8:30am to 6pm, Tuesday to Friday 10:00am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm ·Ability to work every other Saturday ·Ability to work rotating holidays as needed ·Registered Pharmacy Technician with the state of Florida ·Knowledge of Pharmacy laws and standards ·A minimum of 6 months of working experience as a Pharmacy Technician ·Warehouse pharmacy experience preferred ·Pet pharmacy experience is a plus ·Basic computer skills to research customers filled orders ·Basic math skills and ability to calculate figures to assure product use is within expiration ·Ability to work independently and as a member of a team ·Ability to commit to a full-time schedule throughout the year (optional overtime available) ·Must have a love for pets and a desire to learn everything about them ·Sustained periods of standing, lifting, walking, and bending for up to 8 hours per shift with the ability to life up to 25 LBs with or without reasonable accommodations MUST BE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS A BACKGROUND AND DRUG TEST
